The Geography, History, Religious Studies, Music and Modern Languages departments often work closely to offer the girls overseas opportunities. There are annual trips to France and other recent trips have included the GCSE and Sixth Form girls visiting Berlin, Lanzarote and Russia.

In December 2016 there was a ski trip to Austria. Their blog is sure to make you want to take off to the slopes!
The trip to Russia took in a number of key historical sights: highlights included the Yusupov Palace, the opulent Catherine Palace and the famous Red Square, where they were able to see Lenin's embalmed corpse. They also visited two excellent museums, attended a folk show with traditional Russian music and Cossack dancing, enjoyed a trip to the Swan Lake ballet and experienced delicious Russian food, all whilst testing out their language skills.
The Music Department has had several highly successful summer trips where they visited Italy and the Rheinland. The tours featured concert performances with the school’s orchestra, choir, contemporary groups and various soloists performing. These trips are just one way in which we are able to add value and enrich the girls’ education with an experience that will stay with them forever.
