Thinking of moving schools?

For various reasons children may need to move to a new school mid-way through the school year and here at Bruton School for Girls we are experienced in helping students make a smooth transition.  Here is a quick guide to mid-year admissions:

Contact our Admissions team for advice on space availability in the year group your daughter requires.  Telephone 01749 814400 or email Come and visit us and meet the Headmistress, Nicky Botterill and/or the Head of Sunny Hill Preparatory School, Helen Snow, the staff and most importantly our girls. A Taster Day - your daughter will probably wish to have a taster day with us so she can spend time getting to know the girls who she will be studying with and their new subject teachers.  The Taster Day may involve some diagnostic testing.
The GCSE and A Level years

For critical year groups such as GCSE (Years 10 & 11) and A Level (Years 12 & 13) parents should look for matching or similar curriculum and exam boards – all this information is held on our Curriculum Pages. Our size means we are able offer a degree of flexibility and we will always try to accommodate your daughter’s current subject choices to ensure a seamless transition in her studies.
