Children from the Prep School had a very festive feel to their end of term Forest School activities when they created reindeers and snowmen from pieces of wood taken from old trees and other natural materials found in the school’s grounds.
The lessons take place in a large teepee in the school grounds which provides a wonderfully unique setting to learn about nature and the environment.
After a fun-filled, festive afternoon, all the children went home looking extremely pleased with their 'sculptures'!
From January 2015, we are pleased to be able to offer bespoke bushcraft and forest school mornings to primary schools in the local area. These sessions aim to enhance outdoor learning and discovering the environment around us. For more information contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
