Sisters 'Tee-up' support for #IWD

Bruton School for Girls Sixth Formers decided to mark International Women’s Day by sharing a bit of sisterly solidarity with Molly Gunn, founder of and @SelfishMother blogger with an impromptu fashion shoot at her Bruton store.

A generous amount from every sale of her iconic slogan tee shirts and clothing directly supports specific charities such as Women for Women International and mothers2mothers

The SISTER tee shirts specifically support WOMEN FOR WOMEN INTERNATIONAL which helps women in 8 war-torn regions rebuild their lives through training programmes. They give women the skills, resources and knowledge to create positive sustainable change for herself, her family and community.

Kate Cox, Head of Communications at Bruton School for Girls, explained:

“International Women’s Day is the perfect day to celebrate everything our girls achieve and thought we’d show off our sisterly support for local business woman Molly, by donning her new ‘SISTER’ tee-shirts at The FMLY Store.

“What better message to give young women out there: be confident about who you are, support one another, be charitable and stay true to yourself!”

With the photo call in full flow in the Bruton store, Molly added:

“I was thrilled that the BSG girls wanted to come along and show support for our charity and highlight #IWD.  They are helping us to help others and that is what The FMLY Store is all about … and I have to say they wear those tees really well!”
