The principal aim of our Design and Technology courses is to encourage creativity and teach your daughter how to develop her ideas. We aim to provide a broad range of experiences and technical skills for them which increase in complexity. Children are taught that there are many different ways to solve a problem or meet a need. They learn to select suitable materials for their project, to assemble or join them appropriately, to evaluate their suitability and to use their resulting judgment and experience in subsequent work.
Our prime objective is the pursuit of ideas, imagination and inventiveness. Your daughter will experience working on projects such as designing and making pop-up toys and cards and wooden clocks, experimenting with mechanisms and circuits and working with textiles.
