Following a record-breaking academic year here at Bruton School for Girls, The Telegraph has named BSG in its Top 10 list of smaller independent schools based on A Level results. Even more impressive is that BSG is the only school from the South West to make the Top 10.
Nicky Botterill, Headmistress, commented:
“This year has been an excellent year for us with 90 % of all A Level grades awarded at A*-C; 72% were A*/B grades, with an impressive 28% gaining the top grade of A*.
“Seeing this achievement put in context on a national level may surprise some people but it really helps to put our small but impressive school on the map.”
The announcement comes ahead of the school’s Open Morning on Saturday 15th October and its Sixth Form Open Evening on Thursday 20th October. For full details of our exam results or for information about how to book a place for Open Morning please see the website or contact email@example.com
