Assessment and Reporting

Our Early Years Learning Journey records the progress of your child in the Nursery and Early Years Class.  The content of the Learning Journey is shared regularly with you.  The Learning Journey also forms part of the transfer of information at the end of EYFS and the start of Key Stage 1.  Each child has an individual plan that is shared with parents.  You receive a progress report when your child is 2½ years old, and you are encouraged to have input into this document.  At the end of the Reception year the Early Years Profile summarises the achievements of your child.  The Reception class teacher meets with parents at the end of the summer term to discuss the profile with you.  Children in Prep 1 and Prep 2 receive two full reports each year, at the end of the Autumn and Summer Terms.
